Brenda Franson, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Idaho
I’m Brenda Franson, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Idaho. I provide telehealth mental health care for adults across the state with a warm, practical approach that’s grounded in the realities of rural life. Since I was raised in rural Idaho, I understand both the challenges and the quiet strength that small-town living brings. Whether you’re juggling work, caregiving, or simply trying to stay afloat, you deserve care that fits your life—not the other way around.
Rooted in Idaho. Focused on You.
I’ve worked as a registered nurse since 1992. Over the years, I’ve led chronic disease, diabetes, and chronic pain self-management workshops that empower people to take control of their health. In 2023, I opened Franson Mental Health to make mental health support more accessible for adults living in rural Idaho who want to feel better, think more clearly, and move forward with purpose.
I specialize in helping people manage anxiety, stress, burnout, and mood concerns. My services include therapy, medication management, and whole-person care. Most importantly, my approach is collaborative. You remain in control, while I provide honest guidance and evidence-based tools to support your growth.
If you want more details about what I offer, visit the Services page. There, you’ll find information about psychiatric evaluations, therapy, and medication options that can support your goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, hands-on projects, and spending time in Idaho’s wide-open spaces. I believe mental health care should be straightforward, supportive, and rooted in real connection.
If you’re ready to take the next step, book a free 15-minute consult. I’d be honored to support you.
