Psychiatric Telehealth Care in Idaho – Answers to Common Questions
Have questions about psychiatric telehealth care in Idaho? Here are answers to the most common questions I receive about appointments, medication, services, and getting started.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I accept most major insurance plans, including:
- Medicare
- Idaho Medicaid
- Blue Cross of Idaho
- Regence BlueShield
- PacificSource
- Aetna
- UnitedHealthcare
- Cigna
- DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators)
If your plan isn’t listed, you may still have out-of-network benefits. I’m happy to provide a superbill upon request. Self-pay and sliding scale options are also available.
What services are included in psychiatric telehealth care in Idaho?
I provide psychiatric telehealth care in Idaho for adults looking for support with anxiety, depression, stress, and chronic conditions.
What happens during the free 15-minute consult?
The consult is a short video call where we talk about your needs, goals, and whether I’m the right fit for you. It’s a no-pressure, informal conversation—not a clinical appointment.
What should I expect during the intake process?
After you schedule your 75-minute intake session, I’ll send secure forms to complete through the client portal. During the session, we’ll explore your history, current concerns, and goals, and begin creating a personalized care plan.
How long are sessions?
- Free consult: 15 minutes
- Intake session: 75 minutes
- Follow-up appointments: 45 minutes
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
You can cancel or reschedule through the TherapyNotes client portal. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.
Can you prescribe medication?
Yes. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I can prescribe medications when appropriate. We’ll work together to decide if medication is right for you and monitor your progress along the way.
Are all sessions virtual?
Yes. Franson Mental Health is a fully telehealth practice. All appointments are held through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You’ll just need a quiet space and a reliable internet connection on a phone, tablet, or computer.
Do you work with children or teens?
No. I specialize in working with adults aged 18 and older.
Do you offer therapy, medication, or both?
Both. Some clients choose therapy alone, others prefer medication, and many benefit from a combination. I tailor your care plan to your goals, preferences, and needs.
Still have questions?
I’m happy to help. Book a free consult or reach out through the client portal to learn more.
